I've only cheated once since my grain-free lifestyle change and that was yesterday.
I was at a French brunch spot and they placed a beautiful plate of french bread on the table, sided with strawberry jam.
What was I supposed to do? Ignore it? Let it sit to waste? Probably. But I was weak. No worries though, my main dish was an omelet; no grains involved there.
Okay, another confession, I also ate rice noodles once. That was a poor decision, not necessarily a cheat, but close, along with the waffles fries I went out of my way to buy for no real reason except that I wanted them.
So here's to another week of grain-free and the cheats I will make too.
I don't need to count the pairs of pants in my closet to know that the skinny, tapered pants far outweigh the flair, boot-cuts, straight legs, and baggy combined. Ever since 5th grade, the obsession with skinny-fit pants turned into an understanding of skinnies being a basic necessity.
